The Wild at Heart Studio Tour is an annual artist-run event, located in the southwestern corner of Durham Region of Ontario. The tour extends from the southern boundary of Lake Ontario northward to Goodwood Road.  Our western border is Altona Road and our eastern border is Lakeridge Road. Here, artists give free reign to their creative urges in a wide variety of media. 
     This juried tour is a showcase for the superlative, the unique and the unusual. Wondrous concoctions appear on canvas and paper, threads and fibres are combined into tactile treasures, clay and metals from the earth are shaped and twisted into the unexpected, photos and rare images capture a moment in time, unique jewellery becomes wearable art, stones and beads pair up for artistic designs and fascinating glass sculptures refract the sunlight.
     Each spring, these artists open up their studio doors as an eager audience embarks on a self-guided tour. Creative art in all its wildest forms can be explored at a visitor’s leisurely pace over a weekend, where treasures are discovered and happily find a new home!
